• Doane Academy: Character and Leadership
The Class of 2011 featured 25 seniors who received more than 170 college acceptances and more than $4 million in merit scholarships. College destinations included the Air Force Academy, Drexel University and The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). During the 174th Commencement Ceremony, Class speaker Eric Blow highlighted just some of the accomplishments of his classmates during the ceremony. Class Valedictorian Stephanie Piscitelli thanked the school’s teachers for their care and inspiration.

It’s no secret that South Jersey has some terrific public high schools—just ask Newsweek, which ranked four of our local schools, Cherry Hill East, Haddonfield Memorial, Moorestown and Cherry Hill West, among top 500 best high schools in the country. But those aren’t the only institutions in our area making a difference.
